About the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS)
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is a Government of Kenya Institution that has been assigned to coordinate the selection of secondary school graduates for enrolment in universities and colleges under Government sponsorship.
Most students often confuse the duties of KUCCPS with HELB. KUCCPS is a student placement agency while the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) is a student funding agency. While KUCCPS selects applicants for admission to universities and colleges for Government sponsorship, HELB provides Government loans and bursaries to the students once enrolled.
How to login to KUCCPS Student Portal
Follow these guidelines to log into your KUCCPS student account;
- Explore the KUCCPS via www.students.kuccps.net
- Navigate to the Student’s Portal
- Click on the Login Button
- Enter your KCSE Index Number, Year of KCSE and Your Password (KCPE Index or Birth Certificate Number) as provided by your teacher in secondary school
- Click on the Login button
- Wait for the system to authenticate and redirect you
Log into KUCCPS with Mobile APP
Applicants can download the KUCCPS mobile app from the Google Play store and log in to complete all KUCCPS activities from the app.
