To access the student portal, follow the steps below
- Visit the student website via basug.edu.ng
- Select the Portals button on the menu bar
- Then click on Learning Management System (LMS) and you will be redirected to your login page
- Click on the Login or Register button located at the top right corner of the page
- Enter your Username and Password
- Then, click on Login to access your portal

Steps to Reset Your Portal Password
Follow the procedure below to reset your portal password
- Visit the student website via basug.edu.ng
- Select the Portals button on the menu bar
- Then click on Learning Management System (LMS) and you will be redirected to your login page
- Click on the Login or Register button located at the top right corner of the page
- Click on Lost password
- Enter either your username or the email address associated with your account in the provided field
- Then, click on the Submit button
- The system will check the entered username or email address in its database
- If your information is found, an email will be sent to the email address associated with your account
- Then, open your email inbox and look for the email from the website or application
- Follow the instructions provided to reset your password
- Once you’ve followed the instructions, you will typically be prompted to create a new password for your account
- Use the new password to log in to your account
- After successfully logging in, make sure to review your student account settings and update any additional security information if necessary
