How to Access Your COEMINNA Admission Portal 2024

To access your admission portal online, please follow the steps below

  1. Visit the COEMINNA via portal.edu.ng
  2. Choose Admission, and then click on the [curretyear]/2025 Admission Checker
  3. You will be automatically redirected to another page
  4. Click on New Applicant 
  5. Enter your details (First Name, Middle Name, Other Names, Phone Number) 
  6. Then, select your Preferred Programme 
  7. Click on Submit to access your admission forms online

COEMINNA Admission Requirements 2024/2025

  • A senior secondary school certificate (SSC) from WAEC, NECO, or GCE ‘O’ Level, NABTEB, or any equivalent, with four (4) credits obtained in one or two sittings. Two of these credits must be relevant to the desired course, and some courses may require credits in English and/or Mathematics
  • A Grade II Teacher’s Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit in five subjects, including two relevant to the chosen course. In some cases, credit/merit in English Language and/or Mathematics may be required
  • For those pursuing courses in Vocational R.S.A. or City and Guilds/Intermediate Certificate or the Federal Craft Training Certificate in Nigeria or abroad, these qualifications are acceptable
  • Successful candidates in the Pre-NCE final examination, who also pass a selection examination by an accredited body such as JAMB, are eligible for admission

Courses Requirements

  • All registered students must complete general education courses in their specialist areas
  • Submission of a supervised project, written in either General Education or the student’s special area, is mandatory before graduation. Three copies of the project must be submitted
  • Teaching Practice is compulsory and must last a minimum of eighteen (18) weeks
  • Enrollment and passing of General Studies Courses recommended for each specialist area before graduation
  • Industrial Attachment or SIWES is compulsory for students in Vocational, Technical, and Computer Education, lasting a minimum of 16 weeks with 2 credit units
  • Acculturation/Language Immersion Programmes are mandatory for students offering Arabic, French, and Nigerian Languages, lasting twelve (12) week

  2. Choose Admission, and then click on the [curretyear]/2025 Admission Checker
  3. You will be automatically redirected to another page
  4. Enter your Application Number and One Of Your Names
  5. Then, click on Login to access your admission status

How to Login Your COEMINNA Hostel Portal Online

Follow the procedure below to successfully access your University hostel portal

  1. Visit the COEMINNA via portal.edu.ng
  2. Choose Portals, select the Login option
  3. Then click on the Student Hostel Portal
  4. Now, continue to log in with the required details
