How to apply for Nigeria Army Recruitment 2024. The Nigerian Army has commenced a recruitment exercise for interested and qualified persons who wish to join the force as tradesmen, non-tradesmen, and tradeswomen. The recruitment process is strictly online; therefore, applicants must follow the guidelines outlined in this post to submit their application on the army recruitment portal.
Nigeria Army Entry Requirements
To join the Nigerian army, applicants must meet the following requirements;
- An applicant must be a Nigerian citizen by birth with a valid National ID
- Applicant must be between the ages of 18 – 22 (ie NECO, SSCE)
- Applicant must be between the ages of 18 – 26 (ie Nursing, ND, HND, Tradesmen/women)
- Minimum Height of 1.69 for Male Applicants and 1.65 for females respectively
- An applicant must have basic academic qualifications such as SCE, NECO, and NABTEB with 5 Credits including Mathematics and English
- School certificates must not be more than 6 years from the date of application
- Applicants applying as tradesmen must possess a valid Trades test such as City and Guilds certificate or equivalent.

How to apply for Nigerian Army Recruitment Online
Applicants are required to log into the Army recruitment portal and follow these steps to apply;
- Visit the Army recruitment portal at recruitment.army.mil.ng
- Log into the portal with your username and password or create an account if you are a first-time applicant
- Complete the application form with all your details
- Upload all the required documents
- Submit the completed form and print out a copy
- Download the guarantor form and have it signed by your guarantor
- Present the completed application form and the signed guarantor form to the state recruitment centres

Notice to applicants

Closing Date for the Application
The 2024 Nigeria Army recruitment is scheduled to end on the 7th June 2024. Applicants must note that no application shall be processed after the closing date.
