Health Professions Council of Zambia – HPCZ Portal

The Health Professions Council of Zambia – HPCZ Portal is a self-service platform used by management and members of the association for all activities such as student indexing, registration of new health workers, and practicing license renewal. In this post, we will assist our readers with guidelines on how to register on the HPCZ Portal and access all the available services.

HPCZ Registration Process

Follow these steps to create an account on the HPCZ portal to be able to login;

• Visit the HPCZ Website via https://www.hpcz.org.zm/
• Click on the HPCZ Online  menu option
• Navigate to the Online Services Portal link
• Scroll to the bottom and click on the not registered for online services link
• Select your account type
• Enter your NCR Number or passport number for non-Zambians
• Enter your email address
• Click on the Register for Online Services button
• A confirmation link will be sent to your email
• Log into your email and click on the registration link to complete the process
• Click on the profile link from the dashboard
• Create your Username and Password
• Upload colored passport size photo

HPCZ Practicing License Renewal 2024

Follow these steps to renew your Health Professions Council of Zambia license certificate online with the HPCZ Portal;

• Visit the HPCZ online portal via https://portal.hpcz.org.zm
• Log into your HPCZ Portal with your username and password
• Click on the Renewals menu link to begin the process of renewing your annual practicing certificate
• Click on New Renewal Application Button
• Fill out the form with all your details
  • Employment status
  • Program
  • Start and end date
• Click on the submit application button
• An invoice will be displayed with the amount you are required to pay
• Click on the Make payments button
• A pop-up will be displayed with options of renewal. (NB: If your payment is done through Government Payroll select the Government Payroll radio button and your details will be verified with the Council if the deduction was made to give access to proceed)
• After a successful payment or verification of DDACC payment, download your License and your
  receipt by clicking on Download License and Download Receipt respectively
