How to Access Your MTU Student Portal 2024
Follow the steps below to access your student portal online
- Visit the student website mtu.edu.ng
- Click on the dropdown arrow displayed below
- Then, click on the Student Portal button
- Enter your Matric or Application Number and Password
- Now, click on Sign in to access your student portal
How to Reset Your Password
To reset your student portal password, follow the steps below
- Visit the student website mtu.edu.ng
- Click on the dropdown arrow
- Then, click on the Student Portal button
- Click on the Forgot Password
- Enter your Matric Number and click on Reset Password

Follow the procedure below to apply for admission online
- Visit the student website mtu.edu.ng
- Click on Admissions on the menubar
- Choose the Application Type (Undergraduate, etc.)
- Then, click on How to Apply
- Scroll down and click on Apply Now
- You will be automatically redirected to your application login login page
- Click on the Start a Fresh Application button
- Fill in your correct details on the page
- Check the I agree to the Terms and Conditions button
- Note the Reference Number displayed
- Click on Pay Online
- Select your ATM card issuer (MasterCard, Verve, or Visa) and click “Continue.”
- Review the fee details and charges.
- Click either Use Interswitch or Use Unified Payments, then select Pay with Debit or Credit Card
- Click Continue to proceed to the payment page.
- Enter your ATM card details (PAN, CVV2, Name, Expiration date), and click OK
- Enter the OTP sent to your phone to complete the transaction.
- After successful payment, log in to the Application Portal with your Reference Number and lowercase surname as the password.
- Click Continue Application to finish the application form.
- Submit the Application form
- Generate the Payment Advice and Print the Application Form
