The Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) is pleased to announce the UACE Examination Results for 2023 candidates. All students who took part in the examination can now check their results online with any of the UNEB result checker platforms such as the UNEB Online Results Portal and UNEB SMS Shortcode service.
In this article, we will assist you with detailed guidelines on how to check your results online from your mobile phone using the UNEB portal or UNEB SMS Shortcode.
How to Check Your Results from the UNEB Result Portal
You can check your UNEB UACE results online with the UNEB eResults portal by visiting the UNEB portal at https://ereg.uneb.ac.ug/results. Enter your Index Number and click on the search button. Wait for the system to load and display your results.

How to Check Your UNEB Results with SMS
Follow these steps to check your UNEB Results on your phone using the SMS shortcode;
- Lunch the SMS app on your phone and compose a new message
- Type the Exam type + your Index Number (Eg. UACE <space> 0011123/10)
- Send the message to the shortcode 6600
- An SMS will be sent to your phone with details of your examination results
Note: There will be a platform fee of USHS 500 for every message sent.

Check UNEB UACE Results From School
Candidates of the UNEB UACE Examination can also visit the academic office of their respective schools to access the UACE statement of results.
Note: This option is only available after the results slip has been sent to your school from the respective education office in the district of your school.
