The UNIMED Admission Portal 2024 helps students register for their courses, apply online for prospective students, register student information, check admission status, participate in online forums, and view current students’ results. Additionally, you can also access your student portal to check your semester results and secure your international scholarship.
How to Access Your UNIMED Admission Portal 2024
To access your university admission portal, please follow the steps below
- Check your admission status on UNIMED’s POST-UTME Portal and accept the offer if given
- Visit the JAMB website to verify your admission status and print your Admission Letter if it’s available
- Go to the University Portal at unimed.edu.ng/portal
- Click on Make Payment to pay the Acceptance Fee using a VISA, Verve, or MASTER Card through the online payment system
- After a successful payment, print the e-payment Receipt online
- Click on Account Creation to create a student account on the portal
- Log in and fill out all the required forms
- Download and print the completed forms in four copies
- Visit the Academic Affairs Office for screening
- Take along the four copies of the printed forms, original credentials (JAMB Admission Letter, ‘O’ Level/’A’ Level/B.Sc Result, Local Government Attestation Letter, Birth Certificate), a letter of good conduct from a reputable person, four passport-sized photographs, and the Acceptance Fee payment receipt
- Complete medical registration at the Health Centre
- Upon successful clearance, pay for School Fees and Accommodation Fees (if applicable for hostel space)

UNIMED Admission Requirement 2024/2025
For UTME Candidates
Candidates who selected Ondo State University of Medical Sciences as their first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME and scored 150 and above are eligible for the Post UTME Screening
General Requirements for All Applicants
- Minimum of five (5) credits in NECO, SSCE, or GCE O’ Level, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects specified by each Faculty. These credits should be obtained in not more than two sittings
- For Medicine, Surgery, Dentistry, and Doctor of Physiotherapy programs, the five (5) O’ level credits must include Mathematics, English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry obtained in only one sitting
Direct Entry Candidates
- Direct Entry candidates who selected the University as their first choice in 2023/2024 and have applied through JAMB are eligible.
- They must have a minimum of ten (10) points in relevant ‘A’ level subjects, B.Sc. (Hons) Degree/Diploma in Basic Medical or Basic Science subjects with at least Second Class (Lower Division).
- For Medicine, Surgery, and Dentistry, a minimum of thirteen (13) points in relevant ‘A’ level subjects and a Second Class Upper, B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in any Basic Medical Science course is required.
- Nursing Science program applicants should have a first degree in health-related or basic science courses with a minimum of second-class lower honors. Holders of RN or RM Certificates from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria are also eligible
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
- All courses in Faculties require English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in UTME
- Candidates applying for Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Computer Science must present a UTME subject combination of English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry
