Zambia Revenue Authority – ZRA Portal

The Zambia Revenue Authority – ZRA portal is the official portal used in Zambia for all tax-related activities online.  Zambia citizens and foreign residents with intentions to carry out any business activities in the country are required to register for an account on the ZRA portal in order to be able to file and pay taxes, search for TPIN using NCR, download TPIN certificates, apply for customs clearing licenses among others.

ZRA Portal Registration

Follow these steps to register for an account on the Zambia Revenue Portal to get your TPIN for business or personal use; 

• Visit the Zambia Revenue Portal via www.portal.zra.org.zm
• Click on the register button
• Enter the security code in the input field and click on the proceed button
• Select your taxpayer account type
• Fill out the registration with your details
  • Firstname and Lastname
  • Gender
  • Email address
  • Date of birth
  • Marital status
  • NCR Number (Passport Number for foreign applicants)
• Click on the Next button to complete the registration process
• Enter the reasons for your application
• Upload the required documents (NCR document and sketch map)
• An OTP code will be sent to your email to activate your account
• Enter the code in the input field and click on the verify button
• Your login credentials will be sent to the phone number and email used for the registration

ZRA Portal Login

Log into the Zambia Revenue Authority portal after successfully creating your account with these steps;

• Visit the Zambia Revenue Portal via www.portal.zra.org.zm
• Enter your TPIN and Password in the input field (NB: Credentials will be sent to email after registration)
• Enter the Capture code in the input field
• Click on the login button
• Wait for the system to redirect to the dashboard

How to Search Your ZRA TPIN Using NCR Online

• Visit the Zambia Revenue Authority website via www.zra.org.zm
• Click on the registration menu link
• Navigate to the Taxpayer Search page for individuals or businesses
• Enter your NCR number in the input field (NB: Enter your taxpayer name if you don’t remember your NCR number)
• Click on the Taxpayer button  for your details to be displayed

How to Reset your ZRA Portal Password

To reset your password on the Zambia Revenue Authority Portal, follow these steps;

• Access the Zambia Revenue Authority  Portal recovery page via www.portal.zra.org.zm/forgotPassword
• Enter your ZRA TPIN and Email address in the input field
• Click on the submit button
• A recovery email will generated and sent to the inbox or spam of your email
• Log into your email and follow the link to set a new password for your account
