How to Register on the TKNP Student Portal
Fresh students who have been successfully offered admission at the Kisumu National Polytechnic are to create an account on the student portal to access all the available resources online. Follow the steps below to sign up;
- Visit the Kisumu National Polytechnic Website at www.kisumupoly.ac.ke
- Click on the Student Portal link from the Students menu drop-down
- On the next page, Click on the sign-up link located below the login form
- Fill out the registration form with the required details
- Enter your Student Number in the username input field
- Enter your password and confirm the input
- Select Student as your preferred account type
- Click on the submit button
- A confirmation link will be sent to your email address
- Log into your email and click on the link to complete the registration process

How to log into your TKNP Student Account
Once you are successfully registered on the Kisumu National Polytechnic portal, you can log in with your student number and password with the following steps;
- Visit the Kisumu National Polytechnic Website at www.kisumupoly.ac.ke
- Click on the Student Portal link from the Students menu drop-down
- Enter your student number in the username input field
- Enter your password and click on the sign-in button
- Wait for the system to authenticate your credentials and redirect to the dashboard

Kisumu National Polytechnic Course Registration Process
Fresh students and returning students of Kisumu National Polytechnic are required to complete an online course registration at the beginning of every semester using the following procedures;
- Log into your TKNP Portal via portal.kisumupoly.ac.ke
- Navigate to the unit registration page
- Select the list of courses to be registered for the semester
- Add and confirm these course selection
- Preview your selections and click on the confirm registration button to complete your registration
Important Notice:
- Registration requires that a student pay 50% of the tuition fees plus 100% of other applicable charges (60%).
- Synchronize your units in the LMS for learning purposes upon unit approval
- There shall be no manual registration henceforth
- Students who have deferred their programs should get in touch with the accountant for rectification
