The Ekurhuleni West TVET College  – EWC has commenced the registration process for new students for the 2023/2024 academic year. Applicants interested in studying at EWC are to explore a list of courses offered by the college and also complete a career guidance exploration to begin the online application process using the guidelines in this post.

About Ekurhuleni West TVET College – EWC

Ekurhuleni West TVET College is an accredited public institution resulting from the merger of the following former technical colleges: Alberton, Boksburg, Germiston, Kempton, Lazarus Nhlapo, and Usizo Colleges.

EWC aspires to equip students with knowledge and skills by offering appropriate, quality, education and training programs to empower students to readily obtain employment or become self-employed.

Documents Needed For Ekurhuleni West TVET College Application

New applicants are required to upload the following documents into the EWC application portal in digital format during the application process;

  • Identity Document
  • Results
  • Proof of Residence
  • If you need an NSFAS bursary you must also upload proof of income and parents’ or legal guardians’ Identity Documents.

Note: Applicants can also visit the college to book an online application session if they struggle with the internet. You can use either your smartphone, tablet, or your computer to apply online.

Ekurhuleni West TVET College Online Application Process

New Applicants interested in studying at EWC are to follow these guidelines how how to submit their application online;

  • Visit the Learner Profiler portal www.learnerprofiler.co.za/?c=ewc21stl
  • Click on the Create Account button and fill out the registration form to create your account
  • Log in with your credentials after creating your account and complete the Pre-Entry Placement Assessment Test
  • Visit the EWC Online Application portal via EWC iEnabler
  • Select the New Application option
  • Read all the questions provided and select the right responses
  • Fill in your biographical details (i.e. Nationality, SA ID or Passport, Personal info, street address, contact, residence, and disability info)
  • Enter Account details, Next of kin details
  • Input your Academic details (Grade 11 or June Grade 11, Grade 12 results are uploaded from Dept of Education)
  • Add subject and continue to add subject
  • Enter your previous school details.  If your school/institution is not listed, type in other.
  • Provide details about your qualifications
  • Select your first and second choice program
  • Create your 5-digit PIN (NB: Should NOT start/end with Zero and Must NOT include repeated numbers. For example. 0342, 4310, and 3453 are wrong but 4271 is accepted)
  • Print a copy of the application for your records before you submit it online
  • Upload all required documents (without documents, your application is incomplete)
  • The student number will be generated
  • Congratulations on your application process

EWC Returning  Students Online Application Process

Applicants or returning students of the Ekurhuleni West TVET College can apply for admission online with this application process;

  • Visit the EWC Online Application portal via EWC iEnabler
  • Log into the online admission portal with your Student Number and PIN
  • Click on the Submit Application button
  • Fill out the application form with details of your program of interest
  • Click on the load/view documents
  • Select the document from your device
  • Click on the Save button
  • Review your application entries and uploaded documents
  • Click on the submit button
