Federal Fire Service Recruitment Requirements
Below are the CDCFIB Recruitment Requirements for 2024/2025
Category A: Inspectorate Cadre
- Inspector of Fire (IF) – CONPASS 07 (Nursing)
- Qualification: Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Midwives (RM), and Registered Nurses/Midwives (RNIM) from recognized institutions.
- Assistant Inspector of Fire (AIF) – CONPASS 06
- Qualification: NCE or National Diploma (ND) in any related field from a recognized Polytechnic/Institution.
Category B: Assistant Cadre
- Fire Assistant II (FA II) – CONPASS 04
- Qualification: GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO, or equivalent with a maximum of five credits in not more than two sittings, including English and Mathematics.
- Fire Assistant III (FAIII), Appliance Driver (Specialist) – CONPASS 03
- Qualification: GCE Ordinary level, SSCE/NECO, or equivalent with a minimum of five credits in not more than two sittings, including English and Mathematics. Class E Driver’s license is an added advantage

Statutory Requirements for Recruitment
You must:
- Be Nigerians by birth
- Possess the required qualifications, with no acceptance of certificates or qualifications not presented at the recruitment center
- Be medically fit and provide certificates from government-recognized hospitals
- Have good character and no criminal convictions
- Do not have affiliations with secret societies or cults, or possess a history of drug addiction
- Do not engage in any financial embarrassment.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Meet height requirements (1.65m for males, 1.60m for females) and chest measurement (0.87 for men)
- Have computer literacy as an added advantage
