Ho Technical University (HTU) Entry Requirements 2024/2025
Here are the entry requirements for admission into Ho Technical University
- Master’s degree Programmes:
You must possess a minimum of Second Class Lower in a related field of study.
Bachelor’s degree programmes
- HND and Equivalent Diplomas
You must possess a minimum of second class lower in a related Field of study. Successful applicants will be admitted into level 300
- WASSCE Holders
Credit Passes (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus three (3) relevant elective subjects
- TVET Certificate Holders
Certificate II holders: Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science plus three (3) relevant trade courses
Technician Part III Holders
- IV. GBCE Holders
Six (6) GBCE credits including English, Business Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies.
HND Programmes
- WASSCE Holders
Passes (a1-d7) in six (6) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus three (3) relevant elective subjects
- TVET Certificate Holders
I. Certificate II holders: Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies plus three (3) relevant trade courses
II. Technician Part II Holders
- GBCE Holders
Five (5) GBCE credits including English, Business Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies.
- Mature Applicants
Applicants who are 25 years and above are eligible to apply

- E-vouchers can be obtained from all branches of GCB Bank, Zenith Bank and Ghana Post Office.

How To Apply To HTU 2024/2025
Follow the steps below to successfully apply to HTU
- Visit the HTU Admission Portal
- Click on Admission
- Click on Apply Now
- Select Click to Apply Now at the bottom of the page
- Log on to the Online Admissions System with the Serial Number and PIN of the voucher.
- Follow the Instructions to Fill the Online Form
- Follow steps on the Online Admission system to complete your application.
- Upon completing and submitting of your online application, a form number will be generated automatically and sent to you as SMS.
- For Mature Applicants, enclose a prove of your date of birth (i.e birth certificate together with any supporting documents)
- For Top-up Degree Applicants, add copies of your original transcripts and copy of certificate to the declaration form and a passport size photograph.
- Final Step, write at the back of the envelope, the form number before posting to the address below
Note: Enclose in an envelope, a printed copy of your completed online application declaration form, together with Photocopies of Certificate(s) or Result Slip(s) and a Passport Picture.
