Follow to the procedure below to register for IELTS in Ghana 2024/2025
- Visit the portal using your device via britishcouncil.org.gh and Login
- Then click on the Your tests & results button, there your will find your different types of tests
- Select the test you wish to register for by clicking on it (e.g. IELTS Academic, IELTS General Training e.t.c.,)
- Next, choose your account or indicate the person for whom you are booking the test, then click on Choose Location
- Choose your Location or Territory
- Select whether you require any specific or special arrangements for the test
- Select your test date, then click on Choose Location
- Now, choose your test center within the county you have previously selected
- Then click on Search for the test
- Choose your preferred date for the test from the available dates
- Now, choose your test time for the listening, reading, and writing test (e.g. 10:00 am )
- Then click on Choose this text
- Next, click on Choose Speaking text
- Choose your preferred date for the test from the available dates (Note: Choose the same date)
- Continue, choose your test time for the Speaking test (Note: Choose a different time date e.g.15:00 pm)
- Click on Continue to booking, then scroll down and click on Book test
- Select the person for whom you are booking the test
- Continue to complete the form within the time-frame indicated
- After that make payment for the test online to complete the process

How to Access the IELTS Test Taker Portal 2024
To access your portal online, follow the steps below
- Visit the portal using your device via britishcouncil.org.gh
- Click on Take an exam on the menu bar
- Then, click on Take IELTS with the British Council
- Scroll down and click on Test Taker Portal
- Then, scroll down and click on login here to access your test taker portal
- You will be automatically redirected to your login page
- Enter your E-mail address and Password
- Now, click on Login to access your portal
