KCA Student Portal

Access the KCA University student portal and log in with your KCAU student Number and password to complete all academic activities online for the 2024/2025 session. All fully recognized students of KCA University are to log into the student portal and complete their units registration, check semester results, and download exam cards among other academic activities online using the guidelines in this post.

Benefits of the KCA Student Portal

One of the greatest advantages of the KCAU student portal is the flexibility it provides to students allowing them to complete majority of academic activities online without the need to visit an academic office on campus. With the KCA portal, Students are able to perform the following activities online;

  • Access and download timetable
  • Check Semester Results Online
  • Register Units
  • Request academic transcript
  • Access payment and fee information

How to log into the KCA University Student Portal

Follow these procedures to log into your KCA University portal account with your student number and password;

  • Visit the KCA University website at www.kcau.ac.ke
  • Scroll to the page bottom and click on the Students portal link under the quick links menu
  • Enter your student number and password (NB: your ID number is the default password)
  • Click on the login button
  • Wait for the system to authenticate and redirect to the dashboard

How to Activate Your KCA University Student Email

As a newly registered student of KCA University, you are required to activate your student email which will be used for all academic activities at the university with these guidelines;

  • Visit the Gmail  www.gmail.com
  • Enter your student email ID. (NB: Your email ID is your student registration [email protected]. eg. if your reg no. is 23/00095 then your student email ID is [email protected])
  • Enter your password (NB: Your default password is your date of birth in the format 01/12/2000, 26/07/2003. You are required to update your password to a more secure one after you log in)
  • Click on the Next button to activate your account and login

Procedures for KCA Units Registration Online

A student is required to register for units to be taken in a trimester/semester. A student continuing with studies is required to register online through the Student Portal with these steps;

  • Log into your student portal with your student number and password
  • Click on the Academics Menu option
  • Click on the Course Registration option from the sub-menu
  • Click on the New Course registration button
  • Select the program you want to register for and click on register
  • Click on Add and confirm Course Registration
  • Click on the Actions button and then click on Register units
  • Select the units you are registering for by searching using the unit code and once done click on add and confirm units. (NB: Ensure you confirm all units before you save. Editing will not be possible after saving)
  • The system will display a message to confirm a successful registration.
  • Click on the actions button then proforma invoice to download the invoice as PDF

Important Notice

  • Pre-registrations of units begin 4 weeks before the commencement of a new trimester/semester. Add/Drop (Swap) of units will be done within the first 2 weeks of a new trimester/semester.
  • A student who is unable to register within the registration period should apply for academic leave not later than week six of a trimester/semester
