2. Click on the Undergraduate Student button on the webpage
3. Below Undergraduate, you will find the Admission Process or Procedure
4. Follow the procedure to access and complete your application

UAM Admission Requirements 2024/2025

To apply for the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates need to meet the following requirements 

For UTME Applicants

1. Senior Secondary School or School Certificate/General Certificate of Education (SSCE/GCE) ordinary level with credit passes in five subjects
2. Subjects vary depending on the field of study, including Chemistry, Physics, and Biology for Sciences, Mathematics, English, Economics, Commerce or Accounting, Government, and Biology/Agric. Science for Management Sciences
3. Grade II Teacher’s Certificate with Credit/Merit passes in at least five subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics
4. The University determines a satisfactory score in the UTME
5. JAMB combination must include Mathematics, Economics, and Accounting or Commerce

For Direct Entry Applicants

1. Five credit passes in the GCE (or Equivalent) examination at not more than two sittings, with at least two passes at the Advanced (‘A’) level GCE
2. Four credit passes at the advanced level or Equivalent
3. No subject is counted at both levels of the examination in cases (a) and (b) above
4. Acceptable credit passes in UAM Diploma in the relevant field, as determined by UAM, plus GCE or O’ Level or equivalent in English and Mathematics

How to Access UAM Admission Status Online 2024

To access your Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University admission status, please follow the steps below

1. Visit the website via portal.uam.edu.ng
2. Click on the Admissions button on the webpage then, click on  Admission Status
3. Enter your Matric Number, Application Number, or JAMB Number
4. Then click on Check Status
