UEW Admission Forms

The University of Education – UEW admission forms 2024/2025 are currently out. Interested and qualified applicants are to access the UEW courses and admission requirements before they proceed to purchase the admission forms.

UEW Admission Entry Requirements 2024

Applicants must have at least credits (A1 – C6 in WASSCE and A – D in SSSCE) in English, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science (for Science related programmes) or Social Studies (for non-Science related programmes) and three relevant elective subjects.

Cost of UEW Admission Form 2024/2025

Applicants can purchase the UEW application form e-voucher at the following prices;

• UEW Direct/Post Diploma Applicants – GHS 255.00
• Mature Applicants – GHS 405.00
• Post Graduate Applicants– GHS 325.00
• International Students – $100.00

There are three (3) ways an applicant can purchase the UEW application form;

1. Buy UEW Voucher from the Bank
2. Buy UEW Voucher with USSD Shortcode (Mobile Money option)
3.  Buy the UEW form via UEW Admission portal

How to Buy UEW Admission Voucher with Mobile Money (MOMO)

Applicants can obtain the UEW e-voucher with the USSD shortcode *887*9#

• Dial *887*9# on your phone
• Enter UEW as the school alias
• Select the voucher type (Regular, Mature, Postgraduate)
• Confirm your selection and enter
• A payment prompt will be sent to your phone for confirmation
• Enter your mobile money information and authorize payment
• An SMS containing the Serial Number and PIN will be sent to your phone shortly

How to Apply for UEW Admission Online

Applicants can begin the UEW application process after they have successfully obtained their Application voucher using one of the purchase options outlined earlier.

• Visit the UEW admission portal
• Enter your Serial Number and PIN
• Select your mode of entry (i.e Post WASSCE/SSCE, Post Diploma, Matured etc)
• Click on the Login button
• Wait for the system to authenticate and redirect you to the dashboard
• Fill out the admission form and upload the required documents. (eg passport photo should be .jpg .png and size should not exceed 100kb)
• Finally, click on Submit and Print your application
• The system will generate a reference number which will be sent to the phone number you provided
• Print out the application form you filled

Note: Make sure you provide the correct information before submitting the form. Changes after form submission are not allowed.

UEW Admission Deadline 2024/2025

The closing date for the submission of UEW application is as follows;

• Direct/Post diploma Applicants – 22nd December, 2024
• Mature Applicants – 31st August, 2024
• Sandwich Applicants – 31st August, 2024
• Postgraduate – 22nd December, 2024

Important Things to Note About UEW Admission

• Inconsistency in the name or picture on the registration slip is not acceptable to the university and may lead to the disqualification of affected candidates.
• Candidates’ names on their ‘O’ or ‘A’ Level Certificates, and other registration documents must be the same.
• Candidates MUST be sixteen (16) years of age or above to be eligible for the exercise.
• Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent can also apply for admission provided the result will be available at resumption.
• A change of programme after the submission of application forms will NOT be allowed.
• Candidates must ensure that they register with their own valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses.
• Applicants are to ensure that application forms are posted early enough to be received before the deadline for submission as forms received after the deadline will not be processed.
• Registration is online, therefore, candidates are not expected to be present physically on the university campus but are advised to register from any location. No additional documents will be accepted after submission of completed application forms.
