The National Examination Council of Tanzania – NECTA Results platform has been activated for candidates to check their results for multiple examinations conducted by the council. The online platform allows students to check the results of the NECTA PSLE, CSEE, ACSEE, QT, GATCE, GATSCCE, etc. using the online guidelines outlined in this article. Alternatively, candidates can also access their NECTA results through the NECTA Result SMS channel which will also be covered in this post.
How to Check NECTA Result 2023
Candidates can access their NECTA Results online with the following procedures;
- Visit NECTA’s official website www.necta.go.tz
- Click on the Results link from the main menu bar
- Select your preferred Exam Type (Eg. CSEE)
- Select the year of your examination to display the results (eg. 2023 )
- The Results page will open for you to select your School
- Browse through the list to locate your index number and your CSSE Result
- Congratulations on your results

How to Check NECTA Form Four Results by SMS
You can check your NECTA Results on the phone using the SMS channel and the following steps;
- Dial the USSD shortcode *152*00# on your phone
- Select option 8 – ELIMU
- Select the number 2 – NECTA
- Select service type 1 – MATOKEO
- Select Test Type – CSEE
- Enter your Examination Number and Year (Example: S0334-0556-2024)
- Select Payment Type (Cost per SMS is Tshs 100)
- A text message will be sent to your phone with details of your CSSE Result
