SASSA Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant payment schedule for 2025/2026 has officially been announced. Payments of grants to all qualified applicants for the second quarter of 2025 have been scheduled for the following dates in this post.
All persons whose applications have been denied are adviced to submit their SASSA SRD appeal within a period of 90 days after their application was declined. Those whose applications have been selected for the grants are also required to submit their SASSA bank details which will be used to disburse their funds.
SASSA Payment Dates for 2025/2026
The following dates have been scheduled by the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) for the payment of the SRD r350 grants to beneficiaries.

Note: There is no fixed payment date for the temporary R350 grant.
How to submit Banking details to SASSA
The next stage after your SASSA SRD R350 grant application is approved is to add your banking details through which your funds will be disbursed. These guidelines will assist you with how to add your bank details to your SASSA account.
- Visit the SRD website via srd.sassa.gov.za.
- Scroll down to the How do I change my banking details section
- Enter your ID number
- An SMS / Text message containing the SASSA banking details link will be sent to the phone number used when registering for the SRD application
- Open the banking details link in the SMS and follow the instructions.
