About TPAD 2 Portal
The TPAD online portal is a teacher appraisal portal developed by the Teachers Service Commission – TSC with an aim to enhance professional growth and learning outcomes for both teachers and students in Kenya.
The Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development – TPAD Portal is used by teachers, heads of institutions, and Curriculum Support Officers, Regional Directors among others for all appraisal related purposes within the Teachers Service Commission.
TSC TPAD Appraisal Process 2024
- The appraisee is supplied with a copy of the appraisal form and divisional/sectional performance targets at the
beginning of the review period. - The appraisee is expected to draw an individual work plan which will form the basis of this performance report.
- The form shall be completed in duplicate. The appraisal will be done quarterly and at the end of the fourth quarter.
- The original report will be forwarded to DSHRM by 31st July of every year.
- The duplicate will be retained by the appraisee.
How to Create a TPAD 2 Account
You can create your Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development – TPAD Account online with these guidelines;
- Visit the TPAD Portal via www.tpad2.tsc.go.ke
- Click on the login link a follow your preferred link from the pop-up modal
- Click on the Create Account link beneath the login button
- Enter your TSC Number, National ID, Phone Number, Email Address, and Password
- Confirm your Password and Select your mode of notification(ie SMS)
- Click on the create account button to complete your registration process
- An SMS verification code will be generated and sent to your phone
- Enter this code and click on the VERIFY TOKEN button
- Congratulations, your TPAD account should be created successfully

TPAD 2 Login – How to Login TPAD2 Account
You can log into your TPAD2 portal after you have successfully created an account with the following procedures;
- Visit the TPAD Portal via www.tpad2.tsc.go.ke
- Click on the login link at the top right corner
- Select the type of account based on your position (Teacher, Head of Institution, etc.)
- Enter your TSC Number, National ID, and Password
- Click on the login button and wait for the system to authenticate and redirect to your dashboard
TPAD Online Filling
Learn how to perform your TPAD appraisal online with these guidelines;
- Log into your TPAD portal
- Click on the SELF APPRAISAL menu from the list
- From the dropdown, click on the SELF ASSESSMENT link
- Click on Create Appraisal to open the appraisal form
- Enter the required details and click on the Save Appraisal button
- Go to the newly created appraisal and click on PROCEED TO APPRAISAL button
- This will open the appraisal page showing the three (3) main TPAD appraisal areas (Teaching Standards, Learners’ Progress and Lesson attendance)
- Select the appraisal area to fill out the required information and save
