The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is pleased to announce to all candidates about the release of the WASSCE 2023 examination Results. Candidates who took part in the examination can visit the WASSCE Result Checker online portal to access their results using the guidelines outlined in this article. Candidates are required to first purchase a result checker voucher which comes with a Serial number and PIN which can be used to log into the result portal.

- Dial mobile money short code (*170#)
- Select Momo pay & pay bill
- Select Pay bill
- Select General payment
- Answer the prompts as indicated

- Reference: WASSC
- You will also be prompted to provide your MTN mobile money pin to authorize the transaction.
- The Result check voucher will be sent via SMS once payment is confirmed.
- The SMS will be sent to the number from which the transaction was initiated

Steps to Check WASSCE Result Online 2023
Follow the procedures below to check your WASSCE with the online wassce result checker portal;
- Access the official WAEC result checker portal via http://ghana.waecdirect.org OR https://eresults.waecgh.org
- Enter your Index Number.
- Select the Type of Examination (e.g. WASSCE).
- Select your Examination Year eg. 2023.
- Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
- Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card eg. 012345678912.
- Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
- Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes
