The Zambia Air Force (ZAF) calls for applications from interested and qualified Zambian Citizens for the 2024 recruitment of candidates into the Zambia Air Force. ZAF is one of Zambia’s defense forces which was established with the objective to defend the Zambian Air Space against all enemy air threats and provide security to mother Zambia at all times.

Zambian Air Force Entry Requirements 2024
Entry requirements for the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) depend on whether you are applying as a commissioned officer or a non-commissioned officer. In addition to this, your application requirements will also be based on your mode of entry being either as a direct entrant or professional entrant. Below are all the requirements for the Zambia Air Force Recruitment;
ZAF Non-Commission Officers Entry Requirements
Applicants interested in being recruited into the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) as non-commissioned officers must meet the following entry requirements;
- Applicants must be a Zambian citizens and have a green national registration card.
- Applicants must not have any criminal record.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of 14 points and below at Grade 12 level which should contain English, Mathematics, Science, and any two subjects.
- You should be between the ages of 18 and 25 years.
- Applicants must be deemed medically, mentally, and physically fit.
- Applicants must possess a height of 5.8ft for males and 5.4ft for females.
- Female candidates shouldn’t be pregnant at the time of application.
- You must be willing to undergo military training.
Professional Applicants:
Applicants with professional qualifications must meet the following requirements for recruitment into the Zambia Air Force (ZAF);
- Applicants must not be more than 34 years at the time of application.
- Applicants must have a diploma or a craft certificate in a relevant field.
- You must be a recognized member of a professional body.

ZAF Commission Officers Entry Requirements
Applicants interested in being recruited into the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) as commissioned officers must meet the following entry requirements;
- Applicants must be a Zambian citizens and have a green national registration card.
- Applicants must not have any criminal record.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of 14 points and below at Grade 12 level which should contain English, Mathematics, Science, and any two subjects.
- You should be between the ages of 18 and 25 years.
- Applicants must be deemed medically, mentally, and physically fit.
- Applicants must possess a height of 5.8ft for males and 5.4ft for females.
- Female candidates shouldn’t be pregnant at the time of application.
- You must be willing to undergo military training.
Professional Applicants:
Applicants with professional qualifications must meet the following requirements for recruitment into the Zambia Air Force (ZAF);
- Applicants must not be more than 34 years at the time of application.
- Applicants must have a degree or a diploma certificate in a relevant field.
- You must be a recognized member of a professional body
- Applicants interested in purchasing and supply must possess a diploma Level 6 CIPS
How to apply for ZAF Recruitment 2024
Applicants interested in applying for recruitment in the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) must write an application letter addressed to the ZAF recruitment officer in your province. This letter should be mailed through the Zambia Postal Service (ZPS). Please Note: No application will be accepted online. Deadline for ZAF Recruitment 2024
The closing date for receiving application letters is November 21, 2024. Applications should not be made to more than one service as applicants who do so will be disqualified.
