The Coastal KZN TVET College has commenced the online application process for new students as part of the 2024/2025 academic year. Interested candidates who intend to apply for admission to the college are to check the admission requirements and the online application process outlined in this article.
Applicants are to note that the admission process is competitive and as a result, preference shall be given to students with higher grades.
Online Application Documents
Applicants will be required to upload original copies of the under-listed documents during the Coastal KZN TVET College online application process;
- South African Identity Card (ID) – Passport Number for International Applicants
- Active phone number and Email
- Parent/legal guardian ID copy
- Applicant’s Academic Results

How to Apply For Admission Online
Applicants are to follow the steps below to apply for admission to the Coastal KZN TVET College using the online application portal;
- Visit the Coastal KZN TVET College website at https://coastalkzn.co.za
- Click on the placement test for new students label located on the homepage
- Click on the register link on the next page
- Click on the Create Account button to proceed. (NB: This is only required if it’s your first time)
- Select your preferred campus of study
- Fill out the registration form with all the details required
- Set your password and accept the terms and conditions
- Click on the submit button to complete your registration
- Log into the learner profile and complete your assessment
- You will be assigned a unique code to be used as a reference throughout the remaining application process
- Once you complete your assessment on the learner profile, proceed to the Coastal KZN iEnabler portal
- Fill out your application information and upload all the required documents
- select your programme choice of study and accept all the terms and conditions
- Submit your application and print out a copy of your application slip

Application Notice
You must apply for an NSFAS Bursary and upload a copy of your applicant ID with an NSFAS Ref. No. Please ensure you have an active phone number for communication and a permanent email address.
