The Zimbabwe Examinations Council – Zimsec has announced the release of the ZIMSEC Advanced Level Examination Results for 2023. Students who took part in the exams can access their results with the ZIMSEC result portal online or with the result checker SMS short code using a mobile phone.
In this post, we will provide you with a guide on how to check ZIMSEC Advanced Level results through the online result checker portal and the ZIMSEC SMS channel.
How to Log into the ZIMSEC Portal
Candidates are required to log into the Zimbabwe School Examination Council portal with these guidelines to access their Advanced Level results online;
- Visit the ZIMSEC login URL Link
- Click on the View Result button
- Enter your Candidates Username and Password
- Click on the login button
- Wait for the system to authenticate and redirect to the dashboard
How to Check Advanced Level Results 2024
Follow these guidelines to check your Zimsec Advanced Level Results online with your username and password;
- Access the ZIMSEC Portal from your browser with the link www.zimsec.co.zw
- Click on your Region (Eg. R1 – HARARE, R6 MASVINGO, R2 – MANICALAND, R5 – MIDLANDS, etc.)
- Enter your details and type of Exam from the list (A-LEVEL)
- Click on the verify button to complete the process

How to Check ZIMSEC Advanced Level Results with SMS
Check your ZIMSEC A-Level Results on your phone with SMS using these simple steps;
- Create a new SMS on your phone.
- Type your A-LEVEL Examination Number (Leave Space)
- Type the Year of Examination (Leave Space)
- Type the Examination Grade (AL)
- Send a message to the shortcode 8383
For Example:
688529872232 2023 AL and send to the shortcode 8383
The SMS Service is available on ZAMTEL, MTN, and AIRTEL at a cost of K4 for each successful transmission. Kindly adhere to the above procedure to check for the 2024 A-Level results.
