In this post, we will guide you on how to download the Tentech NSFAS Mobile app and register as a first time user. We will also walk you through how to reset your credentials, how to add virtual and physical NSFAS Bank card to your account, and finally how you can transfer funds from one account to another from your NSFAS student account.
How to Register for a Tenet NSFAS Account
First-time students are required to create a Tenetech account through the Tentech NSFAS Mobile App or website (Tenetech Nsfas) and then complete the registration process to create an account with the following procedures;
- Download the Tenetech NSFAS Mobile Application from the Google Play store or IOS App store
- Lunch the app once the download and installation process complete
- Enter your RSA ID and mobile number that was used to register for NSFAS
- An OTP (One-Time PIN) will be sent to your mobile number via SMS
- Enter the OTP into the input field to proceed
- Create and confirm a 4-digit passcode to proceed
- Take a photograph of your SA identity document and a selfie to authenticate the account
- Once these steps are completed, enter your personal information
- Create a password to complete the registration process
Note: Remember to keep your password and passcode a secret and do not share it with anyone.

Tenetech NSFAS Login Procedures
Students with an already existing Tenet NSFAS account can log in with these steps;
- Visit the Tenet NSFAS Portal at https://nsfas.tenettechnology.co.za/SA or launch the Tenetech NSFAS APP on your phone
- Enter your SA ID number, followed by your mobile number and password.
Note: If you are using the website, you will have to enter your passcode as well. Remember to keep your password and passcode a secret and do not share it with anyone.

How to Reset Your TENET NSFAS Account Password
Students who have forgotten their Tentech NSFAS login credentials can reset their password with the following procedures;
- Click on the reset password option from the TENET login page
- An OTP will be sent to your phone number via SMS
- Enter this OTP and then create a new password

How to Create a Tenet NSFAS Virtual Card
- Login to your Tentech NSFAS account
- Select Add Virtual Card.
- Add your details to create the virtual card
How to add your Physical NSFAS Card to your Tentech Account
- Lunch the Tenetech mobile Application on your phone.
- Navigate to your physical cards section.
- Click on Add a card
- Scan the QR code on your card or type in the code found under the QR code on your card
- Accept the terms and conditions to proceed
- Your card will be added to your Tenetech account successfully
How to Transfer Money from your Tent NSFAS Account
You can transfer your funds to other wallets of your Tenetech account by simply doing the following:
- Log into your Tentech NSFAS Account on your phone
- Navigate to the wallet icon and select your wallet
- Select transfer
- On the next screen, select own wallet
- Select the wallet you want to transfer from and which wallet you want to transfer to
- Enter the amount you want to transfer
- Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and your passcode
- Your transaction should be successful, and your funds should reflect instantly
