KEMIS Education Portal 2024. The Kenya Education Management Institute – KEMIS Education Portal is currently open for students to access their KEMIS placement results and download their admission letters.
The objective of this article is to assist you with guidelines on how to access the KEMIS Education portal and to download your Form 1 (one) admission letter for the 2024 academic year.
Ways to Check KEMIS Result
Management at the KEMIS has made it possible for students to access their form one placement and selection using one of the following channels;
- KEMIS Online Placement Portal
- KEMIS SMS Channel

How to Check KEMIS Placement with SMS
Follow these steps to check your KEMIS Placement with the KEMIS SMS shortcode service;
- Create a new SMS on your mobile phone
- Enter your KCPE Index Number as the message content
- Send the message to the shortcode 22263
- You will receive an SMS with details of your school of placement
Note: A standard fee of Sh. 25 per text will be charged on Safaricom, Telkom and Airtel.

Steps to Check KEMIS Results Online 2024
Students can check their KEMIS Placement on the Ministry of Education website using the steps outlined below;
- Visit the Ministry of Education website at https://education.go.ke
- Click the Services menu and select Form One placement
- Click on the Form One placement link on the next page
- Click on the open button and enter your index number and firstname
- Click the search button to access your placement
- Click on the admission letter at the bottom of the page to download a copy of your Form One Placement Letter
- Print a copy of the admission letter and present it together with a copy of your birth certificate when you report to school

- To access the KCPE placement information of your child online, you will be required to visit the Ministry of Education portal and download form one admission letter.
