- Visit the Mountian Top University website via mtu.edu.ng
- Click on Admissions
- Select the Application Type (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, etc.)
- Then, click on How to Apply
- Scroll down and click on Apply Now

MTU Admission Requirements 2024/2025
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements for admission
- Proficiency in English
- Competence in Mathematics
- Two subjects from the following options: Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
- Completion of an approved course or option
Additional Admission Information
- Prospective students are advised to consider taking high school courses relevant to their chosen major. While not mandatory for admission, some courses not explicitly required may serve as prerequisites for first-year classes
- For the “Mathematics” course requirement, General Mathematics from SSCE exams is acceptable. Additionally, the “Calculus” requirement can be met with Further Mathematics from SSCE exams
Steps on How to Apply for Admission Online 2024
Follow the procedure below to apply for admission online
- Visit the student website mtu.edu.ng and login
- Enter your correct details on the admission form
- Then, click the I agree to the Terms and Conditions button
- Note the Reference Number displayed
- Click on Pay Online
- Select your ATM card issuer (MasterCard, Verve, or Visa) and click “Continue.”
- Review the fee details and charges.
- Click either Use Interswitch or Use Unified Payments, then select Pay with Debit or Credit Card
- Click Continue to proceed to the payment page.
- Enter your ATM card details (PAN, CVV2, Name, Expiration date), and click OK
- Type in the OTP sent to your phone to complete the transaction.
- After successful payment, log in to the Application Portal with your Reference Number and lowercase surname as the password.
- Click Continue Application to finish the application form.
- Submit the Application form
- Generate the Payment Advice and Print the Application Form
