How to Access Your UNICAL Admission Portal 2024
To access your University Of Calabar student portal online, please follow the steps below
- Visit the University Of Calabar student portal via portal.unical.edu.ng
- Click on the Online Screening button
- Then click on Start Online Screening
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Admission PIN
- Then click on Begin Now

All newly admitted students at the University of Calabar must undergo a mandatory online screening. This involves confirming the authenticity of their presented certificates and grades through a vetting and verification process.
Note: Physical siting of documents uploaded will be required after approval at the various departments
Required UNICAL Admission Documents
After payment of the acceptance fee, the student should proceed to complete the bio-data in the fields available and upload the following necessary documents:
- Clear passport photograph on a white background. (not more than 20kb JPEG)
- SSCE or NECO or NABTEB Results (not more than 2 sitting)
- Certificate of Origin
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- 2 Reference letters
- Admission Letter
Note: Students are advised to constantly check their application status for comment from their academic adviser/screening officer

- Visit the University Of Calabar student portal via portal.unical.edu.ng
- Then, below the Check Admission Status click on the
- Provide your JAMB registration number and PIN in the field provided and then click the Check Now button
- If you have been admitted you should be able to print your admission slip, pay acceptance fees, and begin the online screening process
