How to log into the UHR Payslip Portal
A Kenyan government employee who intends to view and download their UHR payslip online will first have to log into their GHRIS portal with these steps;
- Visit the GHRIS payslip portal at http://www.ghris.go.ke
- Click on the login button on the page
- Enter your employee ID in the user ID input field (NB: First register if you are a new employee)
- Enter your password
- Click on the login button
- Wait for the system to authenticate and redirect to the dashboard

How to Download UHR Payslip Online
Once you log into the UHR Payslip portal, you can view and download your payslip with these steps;
- Enter your User ID and Password to log in
- From your account dashboard, click on My records link
- Select My Payslip from the drop-down options
- Click on Current Payslip
- You should be able to view, download, or print your payslip now

How to Register on the UHR Payslip Portal
New government of Kenya employees are required to first create an account with their records in order to be able to log in and access their payslips. Follow these steps to register if you are a new employee;
- Visit the GHRIS payslip portal at http://www.ghris.go.ke
- Click on the new employees button on the page
- Click on the first time registration link on the next page
- Fill out the registration form with your records
- Kenya ID number
- KRA PIN
- Firtsname and Lastname
- Temporary password
- Click on the save button to complete your registration

How to Reset your UHR Payslip portal
Follow these steps to reset your GHRIS payslip portal in case you forget your credentials;
- Visit the GHRIS payslip portal at http://www.ghris.go.ke
- Click on the login button
- Click on the forget password link
- Fill out the password reset form with your details
- Click on the submit button
- An SMS will be sent to your phone with details of your password
