Required Documents for TSC Registration

TSC teachers are required to upload original scanned copies of the following documents during the TSC online registration process;

  •  Kenyan ID or Passport for foreign applicants
  • KRA PIN
  • Payment evidence
  • GP 69 medical letter
  • Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Transcripts in one PDF
  • Passport photo
  • Affidavit if any of the names differ or are missing in the documents
  • Certificate for persons with disability
  • Clearance commission of higher education

How to Register on the TSC Portal

All employed and unemployed teachers are required to create a Teaching Service Commission Portal account online in order to be able to access the TSC services using these steps;

  • Visit the Teaching Service Commission (TSC) website at https://www.tsc.go.ke
  • Click on the Online Services menu option and click on teachers online link
  •  On the next page, click on the new teacher registration link
  • Fill out the registration form with your details
    • ID Number for citizens or passport number for non-citizens
    •  Surname and first name
    •  Personal mobile phone number
    • KRA Pin
    • Your preferred Category (i.e. ECD, Primary or Post Primary) for citizens
    • KCSE grade  and year of completion for citizens
    • Year they sat for their KCSE for citizens
    • Confirmation that you are a trained teacher for both citizens and non-citizens
  • Click on the next button and fill out more details about your profile
  • Click on the save button to proceed to the next phase
  • Upload original copies of your documents in the earliest to latest order
  • Click on the save documents button to proceed
  • Fill out your payment details and click on the save and finalize button
  • A summary page will be displayed on the next page with a print button
  • Click on the print button to download a copy of your registration for record-keeping

Notice: Applications for registration for a TSC number are processed within 30 days of the date of
submission.

TSC Portal Login

Teachers who already have a TSC portal account can log into their account with the following procedures;

  • Visit the Teaching Service Commission (TSC) website at https://www.tsc.go.ke
  • Click on the Online Services menu option and click on the teachers online link
  • Enter your TSC Number as the username and fill out the password field with your password
  • Click on the login button
  • Wait for the system to authenticate your credentials and redirect to your TSC portal dashboard
