TSC Application for Deployment – Primary to JSS 2024. The Kenya Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has commenced the deployment of Teachers from Primary to Junior Secondary School (JSS) for the 2024 session. Interested teachers with the required qualifications for this deployment exercise are required to follow the guidelines outlined in this article to submit all the relevant documents for deployment.
Requirements for TSC Application Deployment – Primary to JSS
To qualify for the TSC Application Deployment from Primary to JSS, Teachers must meet the following requirements to be considered;
- Applicant must have a P1 certificate
- Must be serving as a primary school teacher under TSC
- A minimum of a C+ (Plus) mean grade at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent.
- A minimum of a C+ (Plus) in the two teaching subjects at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent
- At least 8 Units in each of the two teaching subjects

TSC Deployment Online Application Process
Follow the steps to apply for the TSC deployment online with the TSC application portal;
- Visit the TSC website at www.tsc.go.ke
- Click on the Online Services menu option and select Deployment – Primary to JSS
- Click on the login button on the next page
- Enter your TSC Number, ID Number and Surname
- Click on the Continue button
- Fill out the deployment form with all the required details and submit your application

Deadline for TSC Deployment Application 2024
The closing date for the Teachers Service Commission deployment application for primary to JSS is scheduled to end on 18th March 2024.
Important Notice: Only teachers serving under P&P in public primary schools who meet requisite qualifications are encouraged to apply.
