The Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) has commenced the NCK License Renewal Process 2024 for all members of the council. NCK Members can visit the NCK Portal to renew their license using the guidelines outlined in this article.
About the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
The Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) was established to regulate standards of nursing and midwifery education and practice. NCK over the years has provided countless functionalities to members which include;
- directing and supervising the compilation and maintenance of registers, rolls and records required to be kept under sections 12, 14, and 16; & to advise the Cabinet secretary on matters concerning all aspects of nursing.
- Establishing and improving the standards of professional nursing and of health care within the community.
How to Renew Your NCK License Online
Follow these steps to renew your Nursing Council of Kenya membership license online;
- Visit the NCK Portal at https://osp.nckenya.com
- Login with your email address and password provided during registration
- Click on the Renewal Link (Retention) on the dashboard
- Follow the directions outlined on the page and make payment with the NCK Paybill Number

How to Create an NCK Portal Account
Follow these steps on how to register your account on the Nursing Council of Kenya Online Services Portal;
- Access the NCK Online Services via www.nckenya.com
- Select your Category as Practitioner 0r Student
- Enter your NCK Registration Number
- Enter your ID Number
- Then enter your Email Address and Confirm it
- Click on Register for Online Services to receive an email with the activation link
- Open your email on your device
- Click on the activation link
- Activate your account
- Upload Passport Photo create a Username and Password
- Enter your Contact details
- Update your Profile details
- Submit your details
